Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician for Merano Apartments in McKinney, TX. The role covers diagnosing and repairing building systems, completing make-ready tasks for move-ins, and maintaining grounds and amenities.

You will follow safety and policy standards, manage materials, and coordinate with vendors as needed. On-site housing discounts and comprehensive benefits accompany this full-time position.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required for Service Technicians.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident service requests and perform preventive maintenance.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and punch lists.
• Access and manage materials, supplies, tools, and equipment from the maintenance department.
• Document work and update records so service requests are tracked accurately.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and basic painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts instead of replacing when feasible and using materials efficiently.
