Job summary

Westminster is seeking a proactive Property Maintenance Technician to keep our properties safe, functional, and welcoming for residents. You’ll diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance systems while performing make-readies and routine upkeep across units.

You will handle painting, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks with attention to detail and safety. The role requires a customer-focused attitude and the ability to work on a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-3 years of property maintenance, handyman work, or a related field.
• Certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Be the Fix-It Pro! Handle a wide range of repairs, from plumbing and electrical work to HVAC and appliance maintenance.
• Complete make-readies for incoming residents.
• Keep it Pretty! Complete painting, carpentry, and general upkeep tasks to ensure the property looks its best.
• Tackle Emergencies! Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies with a rotating on-call schedule.
• Stay Ahead! Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment and systems in top shape.
• Collaborate! Work with the property management team to prioritize repairs and plan for larger projects.
• Wow Residents! Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance concerns quickly and professionally.
