Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building systems, grounds, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities include completing resident work orders, making-ready vacant units, inventory management, and maintaining grounds while supporting cost-control practices across properties.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property (where applicable).
• OSHA safety training or related compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Executes the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Obtains materials and tools from the maintenance department, tracks inventory, and notifies re-ordering needs.
• Documents service requests accurately and timely for tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting tasks.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
