Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building systems, grounds, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose defects, complete work orders and preventative maintenance while following policies and codes.

Responsibilities include make-ready tasks for vacant units, material handling, inventory control, and assisting in safety compliance. This role requires flexibility, physical stamina, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in completing work orders and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to perform make-ready inspections for vacant units.
• Commitment to safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policy and code.
• Performs make-ready tasks including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring unit readiness.
• Manages materials, inventory tracking, and proper use of tools; notifies supervisor for re-ordering needs.
• Maintains documentation for service requests and compliance records.
