Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Fort Worth area team. You will handle apartment and property maintenance, addressing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and related duties to maintain curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year in property management or related fields, plus strong customer service and safety awareness. On-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Address an array of apartment and property maintenance duties as specified by the supervisor/manager.
• Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds.
• Carry out general carpentry tasks such as wallboard repair and door/lock repair.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with property emergencies and inclement weather events.
• Communicate with maintenance leadership about issues.
• Promote safety and risk management per rules and regulations.
• Support on-call/after-hours maintenance and respond promptly.
• Foster positive relationships with residents and teams.
