Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, and common areas, ensuring safety and quality. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and participate in make-ready tasks for vacant units, with an on-site schedule and rotating on-call duties.

Responsibilities include updating work orders, managing inventory, and collaborating with property teams to uphold Greystar standards and safety protocols across our Nashville properties.

Qualifications

• Experience performing routine and preventive maintenance on residential properties.
• Ability to diagnose defects, determine root cause, and complete repairs per policy and code.
• Proficiency in documenting work orders and inventory handling as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units and pre-move-out inspections.
• Track materials, return unused items, and notify for reorders.
• Document service activity to enable proper tracking of requests.
