Job summary

Bellwether Housing in the Pacific Northwest seeks a Maintenance Technician I to join our Facilities Management team. You will perform groundskeeping, janitorial tasks, painting, and preventive maintenance at a South Seattle property.

This on-site role requires a Washington driver license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a willingness to work a non-traditional schedule. We offer competitive pay, health benefits, retirement, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• The high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in property management or a related field.
• Ability to travel to multiple Bellwether properties as needed.
• Valid Washington State driver's license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine groundskeeping, janitorial, painting, preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance.
• Review work orders with the Property Manager and prepare units for rent; coordinate with vendors.
• Apply fair housing guidelines and maintain tenant confidentiality.
• Inspect facilities for safety and operate power tools and maintenance equipment.
• Maintain records per city, state, and federal guidelines and participate as a site team member.
