Job summary

Pillar Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our Seattle team. You will assist in the upkeep of our interiors and exteriors, perform preventative maintenance, and handle basic plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks to keep properties in top condition.

You’ll work with a supportive team, have access to resources to develop your skills, and enjoy comprehensive benefits and discretionary bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
• Effective verbal and written communication with residents, employees, and vendors.
• Flexible schedule with reliable attendance.
• Must own hand tools.
• Basic prep and painting abilities.
• Results-driven with strong customer service.
• Able to manage multiple priorities with deadlines.
• Strong integrity and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain apartments and common areas with preventative maintenance.
• Complete written work orders promptly.
• Assist with plumbing tasks in units and common areas.
• Assist with minor electrical work in units and common areas.
• Paint apartments and most common areas.
• Support safety training and hazard communications.
• Respond to emergencies as needed.
• Travel between local properties as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
