Job summary

Community Roots Housing in Seattle, WA seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform repair and maintenance tasks across properties and to support the Facilities Team. You will oversee vendor work and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.

The role requires 2+ years of related maintenance experience and a strong background in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair work. This is a hands-on position with an emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years' experience as an Apartment Maintenance Technician or related field.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair and building hardware/lock systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance tasks at assigned properties.
• Oversee vendor work and coordinate with Maintenance Manager.
• Inspect buildings and ensure cleanliness, safety, and operability of systems.
