Job summary

Bellwether Housing is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to conduct routine groundskeeping, janitorial, painting, and preventive maintenance at Anchor Flats in Seattle, WA. Onsite schedule is Monday–Friday, with some flexibility for non-traditional hours as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year in property management or related work. A valid driver’s license is required, and you’ll collaborate with the Property Manager to manage work orders and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in property management or related field.
• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain WA license within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine groundskeeping, janitorial, painting, preventive and emergency maintenance.
• Meet with Property Manager to review work orders and unit turn schedules and propose repairs.
• Prepare vacant units for re‑renting and coordinate with vendors or staff.
• Maintain records per company, city, state and federal guidelines.
• Be the point of contact for tenant emergencies and ensure safety of facilities.
