Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical upkeep of buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and manage make-ready tasks to prepare units for leasing, while adhering to safety policies and documentation standards.

Essential qualifications include EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal), state/local certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• EPA Type I, II, or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• State and local certifications as required by jurisdiction.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and codes.
• Performs make-ready tasks for vacant units and coordinates vendors as needed.
• Manages materials and inventory for maintenance operations.
• Documents service requests accurately and timely.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; performs cleaning and minor painting.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
