Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will address resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in alignment with policy and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include making-ready vacant units, supervising vendors, and maintaining inventory while supporting the budget and safety obligations across the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work orders from residents and perform routine maintenance per policies and safety rules.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, and coordinating vendors.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance standards across grounds, buildings, and common areas to Greystar quality.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors, ensuring quality, materials, and scope meet standards.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs, maintenance, and capital projects; manage inventory and expenses.
