Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of our properties. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure safety and cleanliness across buildings, grounds, and amenities.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, tracking supplies, and documenting work performed. You will participate in inspections, follow OSHA safety guidelines, and support cost-control efforts by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.

Qualifications

• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs per policy and code requirements.
• Completes work orders and the make-ready process for vacant units.
• Maintains inventory of materials, tools, and supplies; reports re-order needs.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Make-ready vacant units: inspections, punch lists, scheduling contractors, and ensuring completion.
• Track inventory and return unused items to proper storage.
• Complete documentation for service requests.
• Assist in grounds and amenity upkeep including cleaning and painting.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
