Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the property's physical areas meet safety and cleanliness standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and support make-ready and preventative maintenance across units and common spaces.

This full-time on-site role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to maintain property condition.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance per policy and safety standards.
• Performs make-ready tasks and coordinates with vendors for unit turnovers.
• Manages materials, tools, and inventory; notifies supervisor when re-ordering.
• Documents work orders accurately and tracks service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paint as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Follows safety training; attends required OSHA sessions and reports incidents.
• Inspects contractor work for quality and communicates concerns to management.
• Participates in routine property inspections to identify safety needs.
