Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor in San Rafael, CA. You will oversee essential repairs and maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and more to ensure high-quality living environments.

Responsibilities include managing work orders, supervising the maintenance team, mentoring staff, and responding to emergencies while upholding safety standards and exceptional resident service. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, carpentry, HVAC and grounds maintenance repairs.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards.
• Daily inspection of property grounds, buildings, and amenities for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with property emergencies and on-call duties as needed.
• Mentor maintenance team and promote safety and risk management.
• Inspect units during pre- and post-move processes and support timely turnovers.
• Communicate with maintenance supervisor and property manager about issues.
