Avenue5 Residential, LLC Career Center is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations and ensure the property complies with Avenue5 policies and regulations. Responsibilities include repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds, plus supervising a maintenance team and adherence to risk management programs.

Focus on resident satisfaction, timely work orders, on-call readiness, and mentoring within a growing property management team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of property management or related field experience.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance repairs as directed.
• Conduct general carpentry tasks such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, window/door repair.
• Perform preventative maintenance including painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator tasks.
• Maintain and close work orders to ensure resident satisfaction and safety.
• Conduct daily property inspections and address issues promptly.
• Assist in managing property emergencies (weather events, fires, floods).
• Communicate maintenance issues to supervisor and property manager.
