Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure indoor and outdoor community areas meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle maintenance requests, perform make-ready tasks, and support budget and procedures with a focus on cost-effective solutions.

You will work closely with the Community Manager to uphold Greystar’s service standards, safety policies, and resident satisfaction. This onsite role requires flexibility and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• Must have hand tools and be skilled in safe use of tools.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and diagnose defects.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Establish cleanliness/appearance standards for grounds and facilities.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies and assist with budget.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance per policy.
