Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work across community buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will diagnose deficiencies, complete repairs, and maintain safety and quality standards.

You will manage make-ready tasks, coordinate vendors, and ensure timely completion of maintenance projects while upholding Greystar's service expectations. A valid driver’s license and tool proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trades preferred.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, schedule vendors, and inspect work.
• Develop cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds and common areas.
• Periodically inspect work by staff and contractors for quality and safety.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and assist with budget planning.
