Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to service and repair inside and outside community areas. You will handle work orders, diagnose defects, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and high-quality appearances across buildings and amenities.

You will oversee make-ready tasks, schedule contractors, order parts, and help manage preventative maintenance and cost controls. A valid driver’s license and EPA Type I/II or Universal certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related experience ok.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trades.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by law; knowledge of safety is essential.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform repairs per policy.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Set cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds and interiors.
• Inspect work by others and by contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory and assist budget planning for repairs.
