Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to service the community by handling work orders, upkeep, and preventive maintenance. You will coordinate with the Community Manager and vendors to keep buildings clean, safe, and well maintained.

The role requires tools, HVAC certs, strong customer service, and the ability to inspect and improve work quality across grounds and units. Bilingual skills are a plus, and a flexible schedule may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or related training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools and safe-use knowledge of tools and equipment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Customer service focus and strong interpersonal skills.
• Property management system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete resident work orders and routine upkeep.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant homes and inspect work.
• Set standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors and common areas.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and contractors for quality.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate supplies with the Community Manager.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance and support budget goals.
• Support cost-containment by repairing instead of replacing when feasible.
• Lead safety meetings and stay current on OSHA requirements.
