Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work across the community. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and uphold Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will manage make-ready tasks for leasing, supervise contractors when needed, and contribute to budgeting and safety compliance. Strong tools skills and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must use hand and power tools safely and maintain equipment.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to problems.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with basic office software and records.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in building systems per policies and safety standards.
• Complete Make-Ready tasks for vacant units and coordinate with contractors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds and common areas.
• Inspect work for quality and report corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain inventory of parts and assist budgeting for repairs.
• Conduct regular maintenance and safety trainings; follow OSHA rules.
• Respond to resident requests with courtesy and urgency.
