Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform and supervise routine and preventive maintenance across the community. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and ensure the grounds and units meet Greystar quality standards.

Strong customer service and safety focus are essential. Responsibilities include coordinating make-readies for new leases, inspecting contractor work, and assisting in budgeting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related building maintenance.
• Own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; safe use of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process to prepare vacants for leasing and move-ins.
• Develops quality standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas to reflect Greystar standards.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and materials; assist in budgeting for repairs and maintenance.
