Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work across the community. You will address resident service requests, diagnose issues, and repair in accordance with safety standards and codes.

You’ll manage make-ready processes for vacant units, inspect quality, coordinate with vendors, and support budgeting for repairs and capital projects. Strong customer service and tool-handling skills required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal if working on HVAC systems.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on-site vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Addresses resident service requests and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Oversees make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, and coordinating vendors.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, and common areas.
• Inspects work for quality and ensures compliance with safety policies and codes.
• Supports budget development for repairs and capital projects; seeks cost-effective solutions.
