Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to perform mechanical and preventive tasks across the community, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality for residents. You will diagnose issues, repair equipment, and manage make-ready preparations for new move-ins.

The role requires experience in property management maintenance, EPA or OSHA certifications, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. A valid driver’s license and own tools are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools unless prohibited by State law; know safe use and maintenance of tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and performing repairs.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process for vacant units and schedule vendors as needed.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interiors and common areas.
• Inspect work by staff and contractors for quality and compliance with safety policies.
