Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work across the community’s buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

You will diagnose defects, complete make-ready inspections for vacant units, schedule vendors, and maintain inventory while upholding Greystar quality standards and code compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience performing technical and mechanical work across building systems.
• Ability to diagnose defects and perform repairs per safety policies and codes.
• Experience coordinating make-ready tasks for vacant units and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Manage work orders from resident requests and diagnose problems.
• Oversee and complete the make-ready process for leasing units.
• Develop cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, interiors, and exterior areas.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and safety.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools within budget guidelines.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance and support cost-control efforts.
• Participate in safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
