Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical tasks to ensure the interiors, exteriors, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will handle resident work orders, diagnose issues, and repair in line with established policies and safety requirements. The role includes managing make-ready inspections and coordinating vendors to prepare units for leasing.

Qualifications

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests for service and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and repairing.
• Oversees and completes make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing by inspecting, scheduling vendors and contractors, and completing tasks.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and overall appearance of grounds, amenities, and common areas to reflect high Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspects work performed by other service team members to assess policy effectiveness and develop corrective action plans.
• Inspects contractor, vendor, and service provider work to verify quality and adherence to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests for service, diagnosing the source of defects and making repairs.
• Oversees the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and move-ins, including inspections, punch lists, and scheduling.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and materials, orders supplies, and ensures safety standards and procedures are followed.
