Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure interior and exterior community upkeep meets company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle work orders, conduct routine repairs, and support make-ready processes for new move-ins.

You will inspect vendor work, manage inventory, and assist in budget planning while maintaining a strong focus on resident satisfaction and safety compliance across the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade preferred.
• Must provide own hand tools and be proficient in safe use of tools.
• Strong reading/writing and math skills for documents and cost tracking.
• Ability to diagnose problems, communicate effectively with residents and team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work orders and routine maintenance per policy and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, units, and common areas.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of parts and materials, assist budget planning and cost control.
