Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, and common areas meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and function.

Responsibilities include processing resident work orders, completing make-ready tasks for vacant homes, maintaining tools and inventory, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely, compliant work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by state law.
• Able to apply logical thinking to diagnose and fix problems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with residents.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues per policies and safety standards.
• Execute make-ready process for vacant units, inspect, and coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies within budget guidelines.
• Conduct periodic safety and compliance tasks and assist with budget development.
