Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and maintain interior and exterior community areas, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will handle work orders, inspections, and make-readies for vacant units, coordinating with vendors as needed.

The role requires safety-conscious, customer-focused professionals with tools proficiency, math skills, and experience in property maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and use them safely.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to define and correct problems.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively at work.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets; PM system experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for administrative and financial documents.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes resident work orders and routine upkeep by diagnosing and repairing defects.
• Oversees and completes make-ready processes for vacant homes, including inspections and vendor coordination.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas.
• Inspects work by other team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and maintains budgeted expenses.
• Conducts monthly preventive maintenance and supports capital projects as needed.
• Accounts for safety and OSHA regulations and conducts safety meetings.
