The role involves diagnosing and repairing resident requests, managing make-ready tasks, and coordinating vendors while maintaining tools, inventory, and preventative maintenance. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; related training accepted.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools; safe use of tools required.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with property management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair resident-facing maintenance requests per policy.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacated units and coordinate vendors.
• Set cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds and common areas.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality.
• Maintain inventory and assist with budget and preventive maintenance.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Support cost-control efforts by using parts efficiently.
