Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC in Colorado is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee and perform work ensuring the community’s buildings, grounds, and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety and appearance.

You will diagnose issues from resident requests, complete repairs, manage make-ready inspections, and support budgeted maintenance while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Provide own hand tools unless prohibited by State law; safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to define and correct problems.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication to interact with residents and team members.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for policy adherence and inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process for vacant apartments and move-ins.
• Develop standards for grounds and building exteriors to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspect work by others and by contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory and assist budget planning for repairs and capital projects.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance and participate in safety meetings.
