You will inspect work, manage vendors, and support budgeting while following safety policies and OSHA rules. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for resident interactions and team coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience acceptable.
• Experience in property management maintenance or building maintenance.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; safe tool use required.
• Ability to diagnose problems and apply logical thinking.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for policy adherence.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools; PM systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, schedule vendors, and inspect work.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, and common areas.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and contractors to ensure quality.
• Maintain inventory of parts and assist with budget and cost control.
• Participate in monthly preventative maintenance procedures.
