Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Denver, CO to perform and oversee day-to-day maintenance across apartment communities. You will diagnose issues, complete resident work orders, and manage the make-ready process for new move-ins, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards.

You will inspect work, coordinate with contractors, maintain supplies, and support annual budgeting and safety compliance. EPA HVAC certifications, a valid driver's license, and strong customer service are

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in property maintenance or related trade preferred.
Own hand tools unless prohibited by state law.
Able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.

Responsibilities

Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine maintenance.
Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and prepare for leasing.
Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, buildings, and common areas.
Inspect work by others and contractors for quality and compliance.
Maintain inventory and order supplies within budget guidelines.
Complete monthly preventative maintenance tasks per policy.
Assist Community Manager with budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
Advocate cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
Lead safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
