Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance duties, ensuring high standards of curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

You will perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, HVAC, and related systems while maintaining a clean, safe property and timely work orders. Excellent customer service and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Address apartment and property maintenance duties as directed by supervision.
• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds as needed.
• Maintain the work order system and ensure timely completion to standards.
• Inspect property grounds, buildings, and amenities for safety and cleanliness and identify issues needing maintenance.
• Assist with property emergencies (snow, weather, fires, floods) and communicate issues to leadership.
• Promote safety and risk management per rules and regulations.
• Participate in on-call/after-hours maintenance and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Maintain professional demeanor and interact courteously with residents at all times.
• Support a collaborative relationship with residents and other properties.
