Job summary

Asset Living in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Porter to support maintenance operations across our community properties. You will perform routine and preventive tasks, assist with make-ready units, maintain grounds, and respond to resident requests under supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

The role requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and housing laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and perform daily maintenance tasks.
• Handle make-ready processes for units and common areas.
• Respond to resident requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure repairs and replacements in community areas and units.
• Maintain a clean and stocked maintenance shop and follow safety standards.
