Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a proactive maintenance technician to oversee and perform repairs across the community. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and manage the make-ready process for vacants, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The role requires EPA HVAC certifications, a valid driver’s license, and strong customer service skills to interact with residents and teams. A full benefits package and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools and safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose problems and implement repairs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs following policy and safety standards.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and scheduling contractors.
• Set maintenance standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and contractors for quality.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate with Community Manager on supplies.
• Assist in budget development for repair and maintenance projects.
• Support cost-conscious initiatives by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
