Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance operations at assigned properties, ensuring compliance with company policies, budgets, and regulatory requirements. You will oversee service requests, safety, and quality of unit turns while guiding a maintenance team.

Responsibilities include responding to issues promptly, performing various trades like electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry, and maintaining high standards of curb appeal and resident

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least three years of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills expected.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and insurance required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Manage service requests and unit make-ready standards with the maintenance team.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and maintain professional demeanor.
• Perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds maintenance.
• Inspect property grounds and amenities to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Manage emergencies and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
• Mentor maintenance staff and monitor budget adherence.
