Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance operations and ensure property upkeep meets Avenue5 policies and all regulations. You’ll manage a team, track service requests, and drive safety and quality on a busy property.

Responsibilities include coordinating repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry, performing preventative maintenance, controlling costs, and mentoring staff to deliver exceptional resident service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least three years of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with the maintenance team to ensure daily maintenance tasks and unit make-ready standards are met.
• Review and track progress of service requests and identify chronic maintenance issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and follow Avenue5 Policy and Practices.
• Perform repairs including electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds maintenance.
• Oversee safety and risk management per company rules and local regulations.
• Monitor maintenance costs to stay within budget and mentor the team.
