Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the assigned property, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. You will help manage risk, safety, and on-call duties, while delivering high-quality service to residents and managers.

Responsibilities include handling repairs, preventative maintenance, and mentoring the maintenance team to uphold safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds per state guidelines.
• Perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and ceramic tile repair.
• Proactive preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, and elevator maintenance.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to company standards and resident satisfaction.
• Daily inspection of grounds, buildings, and common areas to maintain safety and cleanliness and identify issues needing maintenance or replacement.
• Assist with management of property emergencies and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Promote safety and risk management and communicate maintenance issues to supervisor and property manager.
