Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a Midrise community. You will handle routine and preventative maintenance, make-ready units for leasing, and ensure grounds and exteriors meet company standards.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, EPA HVAC certifications, and a valid driver’s license. Expect on-site work with a rotating on-call schedule and benefits package.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on property.
• Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and routine maintenance requests.
• Oversee and complete the make-ready process for vacant units.
• Maintain community grounds, exteriors, and common areas to Greystar standards.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Manage inventory and coordinate with Community Manager on supplies and budget.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance per policy.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Support safety programs and OSHA compliance.
• Provide courteous, responsive service to residents and team members.
