Job summary

Greystar is seeking a dedicated maintenance professional to ensure the physical integrity of the property, including buildings, grounds, and amenities. The role involves diagnosing issues, completing work orders, preparing vacants, and coordinating with vendors to uphold Greystar’s safety and quality standards.

Candidates should have 2+ years in property maintenance, EPA certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training.
• 2 years minimum experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per policies and safety standards.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments, prepare punch lists, schedule vendors and obtain supplies.
• Track inventory, return unused items, and notify supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Document work and service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting when needed.
• Support cost-control by fixing parts rather than replacing and using materials efficiently.
• Attend safety meetings and comply with OSHA and safety policies.
• Inspect work by contractors or vendors to ensure quality and scope.
• Assist in periodic property inspections and communicate needs to management.
