Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations at the assigned property. You will manage work orders, supervise tasks, and uphold safety and quality standards to protect residents and assets.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, carpentry, and coordination with the property team, with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more.
• Carry out carpentry tasks including wallboard and cabinet work.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Manage work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Monitor property grounds and assist with emergencies and safety.
• Maintain professionalism and promote safety per policies.
• Mentor maintenance staff and support property manager.
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
