Essex Property Trust is seeking a Porter to maintain grounds, curb appeal, and common areas at one or more properties in Bellevue, WA. You will ensure exterior cleanliness, stocking supplies, and assisting residents while following safety protocols.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits and a housing discount available.

Formación

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Physically capable of being on-site, performing cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• No formal supervisory responsibilities; handles routine tasks with defined procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain cleanliness of exterior areas: sidewalks, parking lots, courtyards, landscaping.
• Clean and stock common areas: lobbies, hallways, restrooms, fitness centers.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor or manager.
• Assist with bulk trash removal and recycling procedures.
• Interact with residents and visitors professionally and help with directions.
• Perform seasonal tasks (snow/ice removal, leaf blowing, pressure washing).
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE as required.
