Essex Property Trust in San Clemente, California seeks a Porter to maintain grounds, curb appeal, and common areas at OCC Pinnacle at Talega. You will support residents by keeping exterior spaces clean and safe.

This full-time on-site role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, ability to lift heavy items, and basic computer skills. Competitive hourly pay with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Some custodial or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for on-site operations.
• Ability to utilize a personal smart device for apps related to property operations and communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of exterior areas: sidewalks, parking lots, courtyards, and landscaping.
• Clean and maintain common areas: lobbies, hallways, restrooms, laundry rooms, fitness centers; stock supplies and clean surfaces.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor or manager.
• Empty trash receptacles and assist with bulk trash removal; follow recycling procedures.
• Interact with residents professionally and assist as needed.
• Perform seasonal tasks such as snow/ice removal and power washing exterior surfaces.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE guidelines; report hazards immediately.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
