Job summary

Essex Property Trust in Camarillo, CA is seeking a Porter to maintain the grounds, curb appeal, clubhouse, amenities, and other common areas, supporting asset preservation and a high-quality living environment for residents.

You will perform exterior cleaning, trash removal, safety tasks, and seasonal duties, in a five-day onsite schedule with weekend coverage as needed. Must have a valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Some custodial or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for on-site operations (golf carts).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exterior areas: sidewalks, parking lots, courtyards, landscaping.
• Clean and maintain common areas: lobbies, hallways, restrooms, fitness centers; stock supplies.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor or manager.
• Empty trash receptacles and assist with bulk trash removal and recycling.
