Berman is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily operations of our properties, including maintenance, facilities, amenities, and services. You will lead the team, manage budgets, and coordinate with vendors to ensure high-quality outcomes for residents and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on management across multiple departments, with focus on safety, compliance, and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in property management, facilities, or related fields.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and contracts experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple departments and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations: maintenance, facilities, amenities, landscaping, and property services, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Lead, train, supervise, and develop staff while promoting teamwork, accountability, and excellent customer service.
• Manage vendors and contractors, ensuring quality work and contract compliance.
• Manage budgets, monitor expenses, review invoices, and provide reports to the Board and management.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and capital improvement projects.
• Maintain strong relationships with residents, the Board, employees, vendors, owners, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and district policies; oversee emergency preparedness and 24/7 availability.
