Job summary

Berman Construction is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily operations, facilities, amenities, and maintenance across our properties. This role leads staff, manages vendors and contractors, and ensures safety, compliance, and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in community or property management, strong leadership, budgeting, and customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple departments and priorities.

Qualifications

• Leadership to guide daily operations and teams.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and expense control experience.
• Experience managing employees, managers, vendors, and contractors.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with budgets, contracts, and financial reporting.
• Ability to oversee multiple departments and priorities.
• Knowledge of facility maintenance and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, facilities, amenities, landscaping, and property services to ensure safety, cleanliness, and upkeep.
• Lead, train, supervise, and develop staff while promoting teamwork and strong customer service.
• Manage vendors and contractors, ensuring quality work and contract compliance.
• Oversee budgets, monitor expenses, review invoices, and report to the Board and management.
• Coordinate capital improvements, preventive maintenance, and facility upgrades.
