The Scion Group is hiring a General Manager in Wyoming to lead a student housing property, driving daily operations, staffing, maintenance and financial performance. You will manage vendor relationships, safety, turnover, and guest experiences while upholding Scion standards.

Qualifications

• General Manager is a keystone leader responsible for execution of our vision in student living.
• Customer-centric leadership in a fast-paced collegiate environment requiring quick thinking and strong decision quality.
• Strong business knowledge with ability to manage operations, expenses and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Staff Development and Leadership: attract, hire and train exceptional team members; manage scheduling and on-call shifts; improve morale.
• Property Administration: oversee market, physical condition, policies, emergencies; engage Legal for vendor and contract matters; conduct quarterly inspections.
• Facilities & Capital: ensure safe, sanitary experience; conduct monthly property walks; manage permits; identify capital projects and obtain approvals.
• Annual Turnover Process: staff for turnover, meet deadlines, manage turnover budgets and vendor coordination.
• Financial Performance: coordinate with departments on budgets, expenditures, forecasting and revenue targets; seek revenue gains and expense reductions.
• Customer Experience & Sales: implement customer experience philosophy, monitor feedback, hit revenue targets and resolve resident concerns.
