Job summary

The Scion Group LLC seeks a General Manager to lead operations, finance, and staff at a student-living property in the United States. This role combines business management, community leadership, and operational excellence to drive performance.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years managing living communities and a team, with strong leadership and customer-centric focus in a fast-paced, collegiate environment. The role includes on-site duties and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Experience managing living communities and a 3+ person team.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proven leadership and staff development.
• Proficient with property management systems (Entrata preferred).

Responsibilities

• Staff development and leadership: hire, train, schedule staff and manage on-call coverage.
• Property administration: manage market, policies, emergencies; coordinate with vendors/legal.
• Facilities and capital: ensure safe, clean, compliant facilities; budget and permits.
• Annual turnover: plan turnover, staff for deadlines, manage turnover budgets.
• Customer experience and sales: uphold experience, monitor feedback, hit revenue targets.
