Job summary

The Scion Group LLC invites applications for a General Manager to lead a student living community with a strong focus on operations, expenses and revenue performance. This role requires a customer‑centric leader who can adapt quickly in a fast‑paced, collegiate environment.

You will partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Operations, manage staffing, and drive resident satisfaction while overseeing capital projects and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience managing living communities and a team of 3+
• Proficient in Property Management Systems (Entrata preferred)
• Exceptional written and verbal communicator
• Strong time management and conflict resolution skills
• Vendor management experience and confidentiality
• Customer-centric mindset will drive resident and team experience

Responsibilities

• Lead staff development and partner with Talent Acquisition to hire top team members
• Schedule staffing and manage after hour on-call coverage
• Drive customer experience, brand integrity and revenue targets
• Oversee property administration, risk management and contract matters
• Ensure safety, facilities health, and preventative maintenance across the community
• Plan and manage annual turnover and capital expenditures with cross‑functional teams
• Monitor budgets, expenses and revenue performance to improve NOI
